Performance Data 2022-2023
Progress
End of keystage 2 results show that our children continue to make excellent progress. Our implementation of a Maths Mastery approach is providing solid foundations for our mathematicians and the introduction of more challenging texts in our reading curriculum is helping develop confident and competent readers. Progress made by our pupils in reading (+2.2) and maths (+2) is once again in the top 20% in the country
We are particularly proud that progress for disadvantaged pupils in reading (+1.8) and maths (+2.1) is also significantly above average
Achievement
Achievement in KS2 SATs tests (Reading, Grammar,Punctuation and Spelling and Maths) at expected and higher levels continues to be above national average with achievement at higher standard significantly above average
Our focus on improving writing has resulted in achievement of greater depth in writing being 9% above national. Our priority for next year will be on improving attainment for those writing at the expected level.
